“My dream was to become an Actor or Singer. Unfortunately , I have cerebral Palsy, a speech impediment and difficulty controlling my emotions. Many find it difficult to understand me. I've had a number of surgeries for a submucosal cleft and years of speech therapy. As an adult I find singing is a creative outlet. I see it as a way to express the emotions I cannot put into words otherwise. Voice is a way for me to continue speech therapy and satisfy my dreams of performing. I'm so glad I found this music school. I got the urge to learn acoustic guitar as an absolute beginner in my 30s. I've been working with Jacob, who has been a fantastic teacher.
